In October of 2018, Hurricane Michael made landfall as a Category 5 in the Florida Panhandle region. The storm caused catastrophic damage from the wind and storm surge, particularly in the Panama City, Mexico Beach and Cape San Blas areas. This destruction left victims with no way of communicating with their family in the aftermath of the storm. This is where Blue Magic was born.
